Salento is flat enough to be enjoyable and long enough to be tiring: between Lecce, Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca the distances add up, the summer sun is strong and the wind off the Adriatic rarely stops. A pedal-assist bike solves all three, letting you ride 60 or 70 km and still arrive fresh for lunch and a swim.
We rent e-bikes we ride ourselves: four models, all serviced before each rental, delivered with helmet, lights, lock, phone mount, pump and repair kit. Every rental comes with route advice from local cyclists — where the asphalt is smooth, where the white roads start and where to stop for coffee.

Otranto → Santa Cesarea Terme

The most scenic stretch of the Adriatic coast, with short climbs above the cliffs that assist turns into pure view.
San Foca → Torre dell'Orso → Sant'Andrea

Seafront asphalt, pinewoods and coves: ideal for a half day with swimming stops.
Lecce → Gallipoli coast to coast
about 45 km
Adriatic to Ionian across olive groves and white roads: with an e-bike it is a comfortable day out.
E-bike rental FAQ
How far can I ride on one battery?
Realistically 50 to 90 km depending on model, assist level, wind and rider weight. On the Trek models you can add a second removable battery for a longer day; the extra battery is a paid add-on per day.
Do I need a licence or insurance?
No. Pedal-assist bikes up to 25 km/h are legally bicycles in Italy: no licence, no plate, no helmet obligation for adults — although a helmet is included with every rental and we recommend wearing it.
Where can I pick up the e-bike?
Pickup and return are free at our three points in Lecce, Calimera and San Foca, with flexible hours. We also deliver across Salento — hotels, villas, B&Bs and masserie — with the delivery cost based on distance and confirmed when you book.
How do I recharge it?
Every e-bike comes with its charger: a normal household socket refills the battery in a few hours, typically overnight at your accommodation.

Can I book for the whole week?
Yes, and it is cheaper per day: weekly rates are shown in the price table above. Book early in July and August, when the e-bikes go first.
